3DE SCHOOL DIRECTOR

ROLE OVERVIEW

An entrepreneurial and “change agent” role, the 3DE Director is the school leadership role within 3DE school-within-a-school model. Working in partnership with the school’s dedicated Assistant Principal the Director works directly with students, teachers, school leadership and the national 3DE team to ensure each student has access to a high school education that is relevant, experiential, and authentically-connected to the real-work, resulting in increased, post-graduate economic opportunities. The Director manages the 3DE Partnership Manager while ensuring the consistent and effective implementation of the innovative 3DE model. As a strategic problem solver and relationship builder, the Director ensures that the 3DE learning model and cultural impact goes beyond the 3DE community to positively impact the broader school.

  • Locations: Metro Atlanta, GA; Greater Orlando, FL; Palm Beach County, FL

  • Employment Type: Full-Time

  • Salary: Commensurate with experience

  • Reports to: Regional Chief of Schools

  • Manages: 3DE Partnership Manager (1)

  • Own, maintain, and proactively manage key district / school relationships to ensure fidelity of the model amongst the network

  • Use and share data proactively to make informed decisions that support the growth and improved performance of the students, academy and school

  • Engage, manage, and advocate for the student population to drive matriculation and post-secondary success

  • Provide clear, actionable direction and coaching to all local staff to ensure the strength of the model produces intended outcomes

  • Drive school culture amongst all stakeholders (teachers, students, parents, administration, etc.)

  • Ensure seamless and impactful touchpoints for all community, corporate and school partners to generate model support

  • Partner with parents and community members to reinforce holistic educational experience

  • Work collaboratively and proactively with network peer schools for continuous improvement

  • Manage operational budget and resources to maximize regional and local impact

  • Inform and support teacher recruitment, onboarding, and development to maximize effectiveness
