3DE Investor Relations & Activation




A high-performing leader, the 3DE Investor Relations & Activation (IR&A) is a regional role that will lead regional expansion and activation for all current and prospective company partners, implementing a cohesive strategy, operating plan and messaging. This role must build key relationships and maintain authentic investor integration into case design. The role will also drive statewide business and education awareness of 3DE. This position is also a deep partner and liaison for senior leadership of local JA offices. A strong communicator, the IR&A will have the ability to lead senior business conversations, ensuring accurate and consistent translation of key objectives, business results, strategies, and decisions as a part of an overarching strategic vision. IR&A is responsible for managing the flow of information between the investing partners, Junior Achievement, the 3DE school team, and the local community. This role will lead, manage and execute all facets of the investor relations function and support Senior Leadership in external communication with investors, as well as have responsibility for all internal communications to achieve key goals and objectives.

Core Responsibilities

  • Interact and build relationships with the local corporate community on behalf of 3DE/JA. Support JA senior leadership in maintaining long-term rapport with investors and keeping them knowledgeable on the school model, external trends and impact at a local, regional and national level.

  • Effectively manage risk and issues by proactively assessing situations and identifying solutions to resolve barriers. Timely response to partner inquires while exercising strong judgement. Provide verbal and written actionable solutions to keep project on track while maintaining quality controls.

  • Act as regional brand ambassador with ability to articulate national strategic vision in clear and compelling way. Demonstrating relevant experience in developing high quality communication materials for senior level audiences and board. Serve as regional spokesperson to the business and foundation community, including phone calls, investor inquiries through emails, one-on-one meetings and aligning public speaking events.

  • Develop, maintain and implement investor targeting, outreach and tracking campaign that align to overall business strategy. An effective plan requires ongoing collaboration with JA Area and building relationships based on trust, respect and credibility. Responsibilities includes identification of potential investors, developing plans to meet current and potential investors, organize regional partner meetings for 1x1 meetings, strategically identify appropriate public conferences/groups/meetings to attend and present.

  • Lead the workflow process with investors and internal case design team from draft to published materials. IR&A is the corporate representative in the case design process serving as a content specialist that works with senior leadership to extract, gather, and document necessary elements for curriculum design team to build authentic student-facing case challenges/lessons.

  • Proactively research and preparation of unique engagement strategies to meet partner expectations and requirements to maintain strategic priority.

  • Maintain positive working relationships, both internally and externally. Cross-functional leader who works well with all levels of employees and demonstrates strong teaming and partnering skills. Lead, collaborate and support other functional groups to build relationships, unify messaging plan and effectively communicate with all levels of investors, internal management and the Board of Directors.

  • Provide on-going support to partner’s executive leadership regarding feedback, reports, expectations, education trends and outcomes, and consistent summaries.

  • Accountable for operational excellence, meeting corporate engagement needs and maintaining model fidelity to achieve strategic vision for local, regional and national impact. Superior project management capabilities to balance multiple priorities and lead from a place of influence to manage partner expectations while maintaining commitment to overall strategy.

  • Work closely with marketing team to maintain consistency of national strategy and amplify local and regional presence in local and national communications.

Demonstrated Abilities

  • Excellent oral, written communication skills and experience with public speaking. Strong command MS Office.

  • Capacity to prioritize by assessing situations to determine urgency. Ability to develop a work schedule, set goals, create / implement actions plans and monitor progress towards goals.

  • Strong communication skills with ability to listen, interpret feedback and direct conversations to pull necessary details. Ability to exercise discretion and redirect conversations when required.

  • Demonstrated success interacting with senior management with an advanced ability to collect, analyze, interpret and communicate external trends, evaluation outcomes, business models and education research.
