DIRECTOR, OPERATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS

A keen problem-solver, strategic thinker and relationship manager, the 3DE Director, Operational Effectiveness partners with cross-functional team members to drive operational definition, implementation and continuous improvement across the organization. The Director must work in a consultative manner, being comfortable bringing structure to ambiguity. As 3DE scales its model nationally, this role will be instrumental in enabling the school on-site and regional personnel in doing their work as efficiently and effectively as possible to drive student growth and success.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
Reports to: SVP, 3DE Strategy & Operations
Define and document critical operational processes and procedures for organization
Develop strategic continuous improvement plans that support model scaling and efficiency
Develop and support change management efforts throughout the 3DE organization and with external stakeholders (e.g., sponsoring companies, school staff, students/ parents)
Consult with cross-functional team leaders and team members to support strategic initiatives, providing support including project scoping, project management, and risk mitigation
Use appropriate measurement, analysis and evaluation methods to accurately identify and document improvements
Coach and develop a problem-solving culture at all levels of the organization
Identify and implement enabling technologies to facilitate operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness and collaboration

Knowledge of organizational excellence systems or tools
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, Master’s degree, or Advanced Degree is preferred.
5-10 years of direct, relevant or related experience
Proven change management, process design/improvement, training development and project team leadership experience
Strong communication and influencing skills in a matrixed organization
Strong consulting and relationship building skills and experience with demonstrated ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams
Excellent leadership, influence management, collaboration, and organizational skills
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
Organizational excellence / talent experience a plus
